The Cameby Downs coal mine is located between Miles and Chinchilla about 360km northwest of Brisbane in the Surat Basin. It is being developed by Syntech Resources Pty Ltd. Macmahon has been awarded the contract to operate the mine and is in charge of safety.
Vista Hire has supplied vehicles to contractors working at this site and can prepare vehicles to comply with the requirements at Cameby Downs.

Reversing alarms
- Reversing alarms are distinct and clearly audible above background noise
- Our reversing alarms can be switched to operate with the revolving flashing light.
In July 2010, Cameby Downs open-cut mine commenced production and vehicle safety specifications are being enforced. Contact us for more information about what vehicle specification you will require to perform work at this site.
