4WD Mine Specification Hire Vehicles

With great rates on long-term 4WD hire, Vista Hire’s vehicles are used on construction and mine sites in Queensland and New South Wales. Our vehicles can be prepared with mine-fit-outs to comply with the requirements and safety standards of any site or mine.

All our vehicles are white in colour for increased visibility and options can be built up or down for change of purpose to meet your exact specification.

Even if you’re not working at a mine, you may require the extra safety features of a mine-ready vehicle for your construction or project site. Options include but are not limited to:

Visibility and identification standards

• Headlights always on facility for increased visibility 

• Flashing amber hazard light 

• Elevated tail lights 

• High visibility flag can be mounted to the vehicle 

• Positive ID signage

• Reflective tape stripes can be fitted to the vehicle.

Roll-over and falling object protection

• Vehicles can be fitted with LH8 approved Roll Over Protection Structures (ROPS) to protect all occupant seats. 
• Our ROPS have internal four-point mounts behind the driver seat, passenger seat, and rear passenger bench seat and are BMA compliant. 

Load Restraint

• Cargo barriers separate passengers from any cargo that is carried internally. 
• Mesh load guards can be fitted to the headboard of the tray to protect objects entering the cabin.
• Internally braced roof racks can be fitted to vehicles with canopies to provide extra support for heavy loads. 

Reversing alarms

• Reversing alarms are distinct and clearly audible above background noise. 
• Our reversing alarms can be switched to operate with the revolving flashing light.
