Advocates for Road Safety

NRSPP Program PartnerVista Hire recently became a Program Partner with the National Road Safety Partnership Program (NRSPP). We're proud to be recognised as an industry leader in road safety.

Why did we get involved?
NRSPP is a great vehicle for championing road safety and has several tools and channels for promoting road safety nationally. As a fleet owner, we are very aware that we contribute to the number of vehicles on the roads, and we want to do our part to improve road safety.

monitoring systems are improving driver safety.

New Canopy Utes - Coming Soon

We’ve listened to your requests and are expanding our range of utes with canopies. We’ve placed orders for AWL LX fibre glass canopies with three doors and flat bottoms for easy load through. These canopies are configured with front and rear windows, and the canopy doors are wired into the vehicles central locking system for convenience and peace of mind that your equipment is safe.

We’ve ordered the all new Toyota Hilux to go with these canopies and every vehicle will be fitted with a reverse camera making it safer and easier to park.
Have a look at our Canopy Utes page for more photos and information.
Email us if you want to hire a load-through canopy ute in the new year.

Let Us Declare You Weed Free!

If you're travelling to the Surat or Galillee Basin or working on the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC),  you may need a Weed Hygiene Declaration or Certificate for your vehicle.

Members of our team recently completed the Contaminated Machinery Course, so we can do your Weed Dec for you before you leave for site. It's just another turn-key service we're offering to make hiring a vehicle easier!

BMA 5 Star from 1st Jan 2016

From 1st January, any contractor working at a BMA site will require an ANCAP 5 safety rated vehicle - this means modifications, like roll over protection structures (ROPS) are not allowed to be made to the vehicles.

Our new Mine Spec Requirements page lists the latest BMA specification information. Our 5-star cars are in hot demand, so if you have an upcoming BMA requirement, let us know

Awesome Odometer Reading

One of our clients recently hired two Ford Rangers for a 10,000 km trip to central Australia travelling in convoy. When you are spending many hours behind the wheel you have time to think. The idea dawned on Geoff that he could photograph this iconic odometer reading for us.

He planned it more than 1,111 km in advance and only had 100m to get the shot...

If you think you can out-do Geoff, or you just have a great photo to share, please send us your best shots.

Merry Christmas

Thanks for your continued support in 2015... we look forward to working with you again in 2016.

Our office will be closed from COB Wednesday 23rd December until 8am on Monday 4th January 2016 - of course if you have a vehicle on hire during that time and have an issue, our usual after hours support process will remain.
