Congratulations Audacious Rallysport

Audacious Rallysport
During 2014, our clients Audacious Rallysport used one of our 4WDs with an electronic brake controller to tow their rallycar to various rally events.

Audacious Rallysport competed in Rally Australia in September and they've just done their final rally for Rally the Queensland Rally Championship (QRC).

Justin managed to come 3rd Driver in the 2wd QRC, and Mark managed to get 10th navigator in the 2wd QRC- which is worth celebrating.

The team even made the Australian Rally TV show on Channel 10 - you can see the clip on our  channel

Weed Hygiene Declarations and Certifications

Did you know that we can organise your Weed Hygiene Declaration or Certificate here in Brisbane before you travel to site? We have partnered with a local supplier who has completed the required competencies to be able to conduct the certifications.

According to the Department of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (DAFF), a vehicle is considered to remain clean if it leaves its point of origin clean and only travels on sealed roads or well-maintained unsealed roads. (We have had some clients who have been asked to re-clean their cars, so it might be worth checking with your individual project site.)

If you want to know more about the Weed Hygiene Declaration and Certification process, check out our new article on our website.

It's just one more way we're taking the hassle out of hiring a vehicle that's ready for work.

A Very Expensive Cigarette

We recently received a fine for $1,138 from the Brisbane City Council because a Council Officer observed a passenger throw a cigarette butt out of the window of one of our vehicles. Yes, $1,138 - that's a very expensive cigarette for our client.

Please remember, that all our vehicles are non-smoking.

No Billing Surprises from Vista Hire

We hired a car recently and were shocked when it came time to pay the bill because the daily rate we were quoted, and the amount we were billed, were vastly different. On a two-day hire, we ended up paying the equivalent of more than three days once our competitor added in their administration fees, registration recovery, fuel surcharges, credit card surcharges and more.

So if you are a getting a quote from one of our competitors, be sure you are comparing apples with apples. At Vista Hire, we promise that the rate you are quoted is the rate you will pay. You can read more in our article on comparing bills.

Our Values

Christmas time is always a time when we consider what we value, and we thought it was time to share our Vista Hire values. We hope you recognise these in your interactions with us.
